Cell Libraries
WFLHD Cell Library - "work_dd.cel" (MicroStation J)

MicroStation JDownload (Zipped, 181k) cell library. Library last updated 20 July 2004. Cells are divided into the following categories (all cells not currently shown):

  • Arrows - miscellaneous arrows
  • Borders - standard WFLHD sheet borders
  • Cross-Section - symbols for use in cross-section files
  • Elevation - symbols for use in elevation views and details
  • Highway Shields - for use in location and vicinity maps
  • Logos - organizational logos
  • Patterns - area and line patterns
  • Pavement Markings
  • Plan/Profile View Symbols

Borders

Several border sheets are available for use in WFLHD. The border cells are available both in Metric (designated as "M.*") and US Customary (designated as "C.*") formats.

Notes
  1. Placement scale for Metric sheets - place the cell at scale "n" where the scale is expressed as 1:n000 (i.e. scale 2 corresponds to 1:2000).
  2. Placement scale for US Customary sheets - place the cell at scale "n" where the scale is expressed as 1 inch = n00 feet (i.e. scale 2 corresponds to 1 inch = 200 feet).
  3. A text node is available in the lower right title blocks (when available) that sets the correct fonts and size of title text.
  4. Enter Data Fields are available for State, Project Number (2 lines), and Sheet Number text entry in the upper right block.
  5. Enter Data Fields are available for Designer and Checker names and dates in the left margin block.
  6. Drop title sheet cells once to modify text in cell. An underlying cell structure will still be in place.

Highway Shields

Highway shields are available for Interstates, US Routes, state routes (generic, AK, ID, MT, OR, WA, WY), Forest Roads, County Roads, and Bike Routes. These are intended for use on location and vicinity maps.

Note: Place these cells at a scale equal to the text height.
