Section 107.02, Before Construction Form
107.02 Protection and restoration of Property and Landscape. Amend as follows: Delete the fifth paragraph and substitute the following: The Government has notified the utility companies affected by necessary relocations or adjustments to their facilities, and has provided the companies' construction plans and cross sections for their use in identifying utility conflicts. The following utility contacts shall be consulted prior to performing work which may affect their facilities:
TO BE USED W/OVERHEAD LINES: Relocation of the existing overhead power/telephone poles/lines has been accomplished by . It is the responsibility of the contractor to verify utility company contacts and identify areas of concern where flagging of overhead lines, power/telephone poles and anchor lines will be required before beginning construction activities. TO BE USED W/UNDERGROUND LINES: Relocation of the existing underground phone/power lines has been accomplished by _______________________. Prior to beginning of construction it is the responsibility of the contractor to coordinate with a Utility Coordination Plan that will specify responsibilities for locating underground utility facilities. A copy of the Utility Coordination Plan shall be provided to the Project Engineer. Items to be addressed in the Coordination Plan are:
