This brings up the XS Report palette. Click User and fill out the Report Header Dialog box. This Report Header information can be saved by clicking on File and selecting the path and file name to be saved. When finished, press Slope Stake on the XS Report palette.
This brings up the Slope Stake Report Dialog box as shown below:
- Key in the Job number and Chain.
- If you want notes for the entire chain, highlight the Beg Sta. field and press delete. The application will automatically set this field to the beginning station of the chain. Repeat this for the End Sta. Field. You may also simply key in a desired station range.
- Enter all the appropriate Existing Ground Line element symbology, either manually or by using the Select button, and identifying the elements graphically.
- For Proposed Finish Grade... enter only the element symbology for the cut/fill slope, the ditch and subgrade! This can be done manually or by using the Select button, and identifying the elements graphically.
- The Reference Hub group box is used to identify any MicroStation cells that have been previously drawn onto the cross sections to indicate reference hubs that were placed in the field during the original ground survey.
- I recommend that you toggle the Pause on Each XS option to ON.
- For the new style slope stake notes (shown below) select FHWA Ver2.
- A new button for 2001 is the "Text" button. When pressed it allows the user to instruct Geopak to look for specific text along proposed finish grade and label it in the notes. The "Text" dialog is shown below:
