This routine will draw the graphical elements representing the top of cut and toe of fill on the Plan view, similar to what IGRDS did except GEOPAK will also draw another line representing the transition from cut to fill.
Open the .DGN file that contains your cross sections, and....

This brings up the "Limit of Construction" dialog box. Key in all appropriate data. The Plan Dgn field is the name of the .DGN file that you want the construction limits to be drawn into. Set the Tolerance to 0.03
The Parameters button, when pushed, brings up all the plot parameters for the construction limits. These construction limit lines should match the weights and line styles shown on the "Conventional Symbols and Abbreviations" sheet shown in your plans. The CADD standards call for these lines to be drawn on level 40. I checked the current metric sheet available on the server and found the following:

Another option is the "Place Construction Limit". When this is toggled on, text may also be drawn in the Plan Dgn file. Four types of text may be drawn,:


When finished keying in your Plot Parameters for Construction Limits, press OK. After double checking all the fields in the "Limit of Construction" dialog box press APPLY.
If everything was successful, you can open the Plan Dgn file that you selected and now see your construction limits, (and any text that may have been desired).
