TO CREATE THE VERTICAL ALIGNMENT

As with the Horizontal Alignment, the Vertical Alignment can be created several ways.

To create the Vertical Alignment through COGO, search for "Profile Commands" using Geopak Road HELP. That section explains several ways to create the Vertical Alignment non-graphically. If the Vertical Alignment has already been designed by another software or if you've already laid out the alignment on paper and the VPI information is known...that would be a way to store the vertical alignment in Geopak. The syntax for that type of input is shown below under ASCII to COGO.
