Scoping Document The purpose of this report is to document the methods used and results of the Cattle Point Road Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) scoping process, which is being undertaken in accordance with Part 1501.7 Scoping of the Regulations for Implementing the Procedural Provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) (40 CFR Parts 1500-1508) and with 23 CFR 771.111 Early Coordination, Public Involvement, and Project Development. The aim of the scoping process is to define the range of actions, alternatives, and issues to be considered in the environmental impact statement for this project.
