Criteria Enhancements for GEOPAK Version 8.8
Now that the dust has settled on the x.30 criteria implementation, new enhancements have been made (to the criteria) and will be available, once GEOPAK version 8.8 is installed on your computers.
The enhancements include several obscure bug fixes, some additional retaining walls and several of the D&C Manager plan view define_dgn items have been enhanced to allow warping or tapering of the adhoc attribute values. For instance, the D&C Manager item Prop. Pavement Widening (User defined superelevation) had an adhoc attribute (Super Rate) for defining the user defined superelevation for pavement widening. This was one superelevation value for the entire length of the plan view element. The criteria enhancements now allow for a beginning and ending value of superelevation of the widened pavement, as shown below:

There are several other define_dgn items that have been similarly enhanced. All enhanced define_dgn items are shown below (illustrating US Customary units). One requirement for the criteria and these new adhoc attributes to work, is that all of the following plan view elements (previously drawn) must have their adhoc attributes Replaced with the new Adhoc names or Appended to include the added Adhoc names.
Replacing or Appending the adhoc attributes of a previously drawn plan view element is easily done by following these instructions.
